Our normally quiet 1 year old cat started yelping and meowing non stop. She also rolls around on her back constantly and licks her back and rear end. The vet ran numerous tests on her and nothing is abnormal. We were sure she was constipated or had a UTI -but nothing was wrong. She is eating, peeing and pooping yet will not stop rolling and yowling. She is from an animal shelter and they spayed her before we adopted her. We are expecting in a few months -could this simply be her reacting to stress? Anyone experience symptoms such as these with a totally healthy cat? She is a calm, sweet kitty who still does not act wild-just WAY too vocal. I can deal with the rolling around-but the loud yowling/crying I cannot handle. I need to be able to sleep and cannot stand the non-stop yelping.
