I am 19 and my boyfriend is 18. We've been dating for 3 1/2 years, and as a christmas gift to each other we wanted to rent a log cabin for two nights. Doing research, all the vacation rentals I have looked at in the mountains will not rent cabins out to adults younger than 24! Why is that? They say they rent out to adults, but aren't you technically an adult at the age of 18??? Does anyone have any words of advice about how to get a rental at our age? or where we can go in the mountains of NC considering our age?
