soooo i bought the car for 1600 which was ok with me since it came with tires on the side that had pretty good tred.
but my mom drove it home since i dont know how to drive it yet, i never drove a manual before.
we took it to a parking lot and i actually didnt stall untill i tried to shift to second gear, that was cuz i accidentally went into 3rd! ha very sad, then every time i started the car i got excited and pulled out the clutch too fast.
after about 3 times of stalling the car wouldnt start again.
ahhhh what did i do to it?
it wouldnt start and we tried to push start it and it wouldnt work still, then i called the people i just bought it from like an hour before no joke!
they came down pretty quick and thought it was the gas being low b/c i need to keep it past half empty at all times. we filled it since the gas station was right there and that wasnt it so we tried to push start it again.
then they said the fuel pump wasn't making the right noise u know when u start it, it all sounded like the battery. so they're dragging it to their mechanic who has seen the car over the years on monday.
soooooo my question is, did i break it? or did i just buy a sh!tty car?
eeeeeek now i feel like crap! i just bought this car for 1600! and i found out i didnt have 100 in my wallet how did i lose that? idk...but it would help me right now!
also i need to get the coolant hose replaced, both brake pads replaced, suspension and the passenger door doesnt open right now but their daughter knows how to fix it, and uhhhh i thought i could reach the pedals but then i figured out that the seat doesnt sit all the way up. a pillow could help? im only five feet tall so thats a common problem in cars for me the only vehicle i dont have that problem with is my moms van which hell no im not driving that thing its too big i drove it home today and it was really really really bad haha!
also i took it to a tire shop{which usually have way higher rates] they sounded more confident on the phone than anyone else i talked to.
they gave me an estimate of 700 which i can pay for right now. im just hoping i can get a job pretty soon so i will have some cash in my pocket.
i will be shopping around though for a better deal on the repairs since i know now what needs to be done and im not having them look at it
