1992 jeep dome fuse keeps blowing before i push the fuse in, recently i just found a cluster of wires on drivers side hanging and damaged under the jeep well my father just fixed those and for about 20 mins after putting in a new fuse everything worked, before wires were found and fixed my radio, interior lights, my interior mirror adjuster for the out side mirrors, cig lighter, and door locks didnt work, when wires were fixed and new fuse put in it all worked for about 20 mins then blew out and everytime i put a new fuse in it blows before i push in the fuse, father says when the door locks were working they didnt lock and unlock very good that the actutors might be bad and might be the problem in blowing the dome fuse since its all on the same fuse, i took the side panel off to take a look and wow the wires everywhere theres a viper sercurity system in there i forgot about well i never use it and it never worked right it was in there when i bought the jeep well i took it all out
i didnt damage any wires i just took out the sercurity system out with was easy because whoever put it in that had this jeep before didnt cut any wires just shaved back some plastic and just taped into that, thats how it was all wired in there just the other stuff wasnt working before i took this out, i even went back into the radio and checked wires there unless i need a higher fuse for this radio its a vr3
i cant afford a mechanic
