It all started one day when I took it on a 50+ mile trip on a windy day, I was doing about 55mph into the wind, and turned which left the wind at my right side, It was then I started to notice a really bad odor coming from the front of the truck, I pulled over and took a look, the front differential's plug was blown out, and oil was leaking out of it. I towed it to my shop, filled it back up, and put a new plug in, only happened once after but it didn't get hot to the point where the plug blew out, just a little oil came out of the vent hose next to the wheel well. Help?

the only time i ever seen that happen was when the front differential air vent would get stopped up on them or that it was being driven in 4 wheel drive on the highway at high speeds, check the vent to see if it is clogged up, if it cant breath it will cause that too happen, just it getting hot usually wont cause it to blow the fill plug out, unless the vent is clogged, good luck
