1995 jeep grand cherokee reverse problem?

When i try to reverse my jeep grand cherokee 1995 it seems that (from a back view) the right rear wheel is locking when trying to reverse, it moves fine in drive, is something blocking it? i cant drive it up anymore without it crashing into my fence, so the only option is to push it from the front right now.

Is it the AWD model (came with the V8 in some years back then)? Try shifting to low range and see if it works, I used to drive grand cherokees and if I remember correctly, the AWD version that came with the V8 was a fluid based system that allocated power to whichever wheels could use it most. probably more electronics in that system than the typical 4WD system (where the axles lock and you get the front wheel skip making sharp turns)
