I have a '96 Audi A4 Quatro and a few months ago I bought it used from a friend. The friend I got it from told me ahead of time that the sunroof had a weird malfunction in it, it wouldn't close on command or it would open randomly. So he removed the fuse sometime before I bought it (I still have the fuse). But today I wanted to see what it exactly did so I put the correct fuse back in the spot. It opens fine in both ways but like he said, it doesn't want to close correctly and it would unoccasionally open when unwanted to. Eventually with some messing around with the control will it luckly close and I took out the fuse.
In my mind it seemed like there is a short in the wiring for the sunroof controls but I have no idea on how to fix it or if this is the problem. This isn't a bad/important problem to solve but to me but I'd really love to have a working sunroof. Please help!!
