My cars heat was working fine last night and it was towed. i went to pick it up this morning and the battery was dead due to the lights being left on i assume... but i got a jump start and it took 3 times to actually get the car started. We drove about 10 miles which actually took like 20-25 min threw downtown and the coolant got to 203 degrees like usual. it blows just fine but problem is the heat is cold coming out of it... is it the heater core? how could i test to see whats wrong?
 
First make sure you coolant is not low, that would cause that. To test your heater core, when the vehicle is warmed up touch both heater hoses at the fire wall that go to the heater core. Both hoses should feel to be the same temp. If one is a lot cooler than the other one you know that the core is plugged.
