Hello, I just purchased a Volvo S70 GLT with 148k miles on it. Driving it for 80 miles the check engine light turned on. I drove it from where i bought it from to my house (65 miles) and then it sat for a few hours at my work. When i got off the car was fine and the check engine light wasn't lit. I was going camping so i drove up the hill to the campsite gate Which was 11 miles up a steep hill and sharp turns. the elevation change was 2000 feet so the drive was a pretty good test for the car to see if it could make it up. well it did great and it was all good. When i got to the gate the light was off and i got out of the car leaving it running and unlocked the gate so i could pull through. Once i got back into the car the check engine light was lit. I thought it could just be some problem with the altitude that had changed, but this morning when i got home it was still on and even now it is still on. So i am just wondering if anyone would know what would cause it to happen. My house is by the bay and close to sea level if that helps at all.
Thanks
