1999 Jeep Cherokee classic with the 4.0 straight 6 and I get a loud belt squeal but only when the a/c is on. The a/c does blow cold if that matters. The faster I go the louder it squeals until I hit a speed between 15 mph and 30 mph and then the squeal goes away. The serp belt is in good condition and I just changed the idler pulley but it still squeals. Any ideas?
I tried some spray before on the serp belt. No change.
We just checked that at work. It is tight.
