Does anyone know where I can find a window regulator (front drivers) that is MANUAL?
I had to have a tow truck driver do an unlock quite a while ago and after wards my window was hard going up and down, then stopped all together, when my bf pulled the door apart (he's a mechanical engineer) he found that the window regulator is bent beyond repair and it likely happened when the driver did the unlock by prying the window (I asked him to use the passenger side).
Anyway, I'm having a hard time finding a window regulator for a 1999 that is *manual*, I can find all the power ones with motor I'd ever want, but I don't have power windows in this car.
I've searched numerous websites, I'd prefer to not have to go through a dealer since I'll pay high dollar then. I don't drive the car anymore, so I'm reluctant to want to spend a lot on a car I don't drive. After I got a new car, I gave this one to my mom and she'd like to be able to roll down the window..lol
It is a 1999 Suzuki Esteem GL. Though its older and has 180K on it, it still runs like a champ and gets nearly 40MPG.
