have a 1999 Volkwagen Passat, and my car no longer beeps when i lock my doors with the key FOB, or when i use the key. Since this problem has occurred, when i turn off my car, my stereo system would a few beeps once i turn my key, but since the indicator beep hasn't worked, neither has the stereo beep.. Around the same time, i had my passenger window regulator replaced. Could that have caused the issue? or is this something else?
