The driver's side window on my 2000 Ford Windstar no longer operates. There is only 9 volts on the motor when I press the button, and the voltage goes away in about 2 seconds. I hear a click from somewhere under the dash as the voltage goes away.
If I unplug the motor, and measure at the connector itself, the voltage is closer to 12 volts and remains there for several seconds when I press the up or down switch.
I think the sound I hear is a thermal overload. I want to know where this is located. I could really use an electrical schematic of this van.
