G gpstone52 New member Jan 7, 2009 #1 overheating when on city streets. at highway speeds temps return to somewhat normal. temps climb to almost red line, then usually start to decline. the warning light has only come on once. Head gaskets ( both ) recently replaced. any suggestions?

R Rick Member Jan 7, 2009 #3 check the coolant and the rad. alot of the cherokee's have a rad. issue where the fines the cool it rot away and can cause that issue
