I have a 2001 Dodge Durango 4.7L V8. It had 120,000 miles on it. I bought it used. Well I first found out that My car over heats only when idling. Changed the thermostat didnt make any difference but did have to take it to the mechanic because there was air in the radiator ... still over heads when idling. anyways we put more antifreeze in it and it helps but not much. Well 2 days ago a ticking noise started in my car the faster you go the faster the noise so we put oil in it because it was a LITTLE low not much DID NOT HELP. so yesterday when we got home we noticed there was smoking coming from under the hood and smelled like burnt rubber. I am so scared it the engine going bad.. any advise is welcome thank you
