A spark plug melted and the engine seized. We're being told that to replace the engine in a 2002 Audi A6 Quattro will cost $9-10,000. The Blue Book value is nearly that much. Car is out of warranty because it has around 130,000 miles on it. We live in Cincinnati. Does anyone know if there's a recall on the engine?? Any ideas on how to salvage the car?
