Hi
i want to change my stock stereo in my jeep with a in dash dvd reader and if is possible with a gps function.
I hate the flip over one and i really wanna get one with a fixed screen like kenwood dnx 5120 style but i don't know if its fit in my car.
I know that my stock stereo is 1.5 din...
Are they gonna fit? do i have to fix something in the dash to make them fit? HELP!!!

Yes, it will fit, but you're going to have to get your hands dirty and it will take some time. I belong to jeepforum.com and a member over there had a similar problem, and he got the job done by cutting apart the trim fascia and removing some plastic then doing some minor fiberglassing. Heres a link to his thread:

and yes the factory stereo is 1.5 din but it is possible to do the double din as you can see by the thread.

And consider looking at the Pioneer Avic series. I like them alot and they come with all the bells and whistles. and if I ever get a WJ Grand cherokee (your model) than it is exactly what I will be doing.
