I just bought some 100 watt rated, 300 watt speakers for my single cab truck and I am assuming that is plenty loud. I'm not trying to go overboard and shake the damn truck, just wanted to upgrade to a louder, more high quality sound.
I have the factory/stock Dodge stereo in it though. It is just the regular single CD player stereo that came with the truck. My question would be how many watts is it capable off putting out, because the speakers are pointless if the stereo doesn't use the full wattage. I am having a hard time finding the specs for it. Does anyone have any idea, or suggestions? 300 watts too much/not enough...ect
