I just bought a 2005 Chevy Malibu LS from a dealer as-is, with 77,000 miles. It runs perfectly, except for one problem. Every few starts, it is slow for it to fully turn over. Its not when it is cold or anything, it just struggles after i turn the ignition every once in a while. One it does start it is just fine, and it has never failed to start. I talked to my salesman, and he says when they do a full detail, when they clean under the hood, water sometimes gets in to the engine, and it takes a little while to get out. I put in some fuel additives that could eliminate water build-up. I am not too familiar with cars, and this whole situation is making me really nervous. Any suggestions on what it may be? Everything runs fantastically once it starts, it just happens every one in a while. I also have only driven about 30 miles since I put the additives in the fuel, if that makes a difference.
