I need to buy a car soon and I have these two choices. I want a nice looking car that goes fast, but I dont need to choose one because it can very fast, I don't plan on doing 200mph in this car. I also want good gas milage. This is gonna be in Michigan, so it needs ot be able to deal with lots of snow and ice. I would like a spacious backseat and good size trunk. Please help me!

They are both very comparable with slight differences. The Grand Prix is slightly heavier, bigger, and stronger. The G6 has a smaller trunk and has lower gas mileage. But to be honest, they are extremely similar with differences being 1-2 mpg, a couple dozen pounds, or 40 horsepower.

I would get a Grand Prix myself because they are slightly bigger and I find them more comfortable (having one myself), but feel safe knowing that they are too close to call either better. This is why they stopped making the Grand Prix to allow the G6 and G8 to be their premier sedans instead of competing against each other. The G6 being the lower end while the G8 competes with more expensive sedans.

I like the body and size of the Grand Prix but the G6 is enjoyable and liked by many. Oh, and either works in snow. Both being front-wheel drive allows you more control overall.

I hope I helped and that you enjoy your car!
