New Zealand-based cloud strategy firm 3 Cord has launched a product to assist enterprises to move to the cloud, after two years of research, planning and working with technology partners.Ben Fellows, CEO says “There are a large amount of companies wanting to get more out of their IT and Web investments, while uncertainty looms over decision makers as they try and solve complex business problems. I have designed a product that brings people, businesses and technology together to understand what the benefits are for moving to the cloud. One of the first steps is helping business owners feel at rest with the cloud by outlining the business benefits such as low cost of entry, being in control of IT and removing traditional barriers to business initiatives. BusinessToCloud seemed like the obvious name for the product.”
BusinessToCloud provides the ability for businesses to move to the cloud by providing educational and practical workshops which enable business owners, CIOs, IT staff to make informed decisions in cloud investment with the goal of saving you implementation time and money.
Workshops include "Cloud Introduction 101" and the on site "Full Day Cloud Workshop" for top and middle management.
The "Technology in The Cloud" workshop is aimed at developers, system administrator and other technology people to understand how to leverage cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and others.
These workshops allow customers to ask questions, explore opportunities in the cloud and look at their business from various angles.
Using partnerships and associates 3 Cord will be able to provide business opportunities for existing companies looking to diversify their range of services.
“I’m excited about the BusinessToCloud initiative because to build capability, 3 Cord will also be engaging senior level associates throughout NZ and Asia Pacific who are interested in leveraging the 3 Cord brand and the industry partnerships we have to deliver workshops in their own regions. An associate doesn’t need to have any existing material or processes of their own in place which means they can add another string to their bow. This means for example a company already offering consulting services can also add BusinessToCloud to their portfolio of products and services.” said Mr Fellows.
To officially launch BusinessToCloud, the company will be providing free introductory workshops between May-July 2013 in addition to paid for onsite workshops.
