3-year contract with Telus ?

i wanna get a blackberry curve with telus, but with a 3 year contract, so how does that work ? will they do anything sneaky like charge me more money or something ?

eee dont get one of those, go on orange u can get the latest blackberry curve for £15 a month for 2 years, go on phones 4 u or carphone warehouse
