im driving on the highway, all of a sudden i run out of gas. road side assistance shows up and puts low octane gas in the tank. i was not happy with that knowing the car usually runs on PREMIUM. i try to fire up the engine again. wont start. i decided to get towed to the shop since the car couldn't be left on the side of the highway. the mechanics have no clue what there looking at. luckily i know a bit. i eventually got the car to start. when i did it started smoking white, a lot. not only that the engine is starving for gas and air, the turbos barely even spin. the engine sounds like it firing on 3 or 4 cylinders and not all 6. the engine loves to stall, i have to keep my foot in the gas just to keep it from stalling. i changed the spark plugs a day before i made my trip. the Coil packs and spark module are good. my assumption is the fuel pump is almost dead, and the fuel filter is clogged due to the junk at the bottom of the tank. it would be greatly appreciated if i could have some help with this. thanks.
