I love the scriptures!!! Nephi,son of Lehi, cries out with sorrow because of the weakness of the flesh to temptation and quickly corrects himself and knows to praise and seek the Lord all the days of his life would be adequate for God. For he offers up a broken heart and a contrite spirit. Repentance is the topic in Doctrine and Covenants and the promises of a right path are laid out. In the book of Moses we read of the original sin and children being born in sin. I will share what I have to come to understand about this concept.
