Alright so since I went offroading with my jeep this fuse for a coil or something like that keeps blowing, i've been through over 50 different fuses ranging from 10 which is recommended and up to 30 which was the highest I could find. Why do these keep blowing? I had a mechanic come look at it today and he was really confused because he would replace a fuse, the car would fire rite up and stay on for a little bit, 10 seconds - 10 minutes and then it would just blow a fuse at any given moment. He said he would like to rewire the whole entire Jeep for me because he thinks theres 2 wires touching or something that arent supposed to be touching and he was only going to charge me an hour of labor for the work because hes a close family friend. What I dont undestand though is the fact that if I were to touch 2 open wires from my deck together it would blow the fuse that was for the deck. So wouldnt that mean there are 2 wires touching or shorting from the ignition coil? Could the ignition could maybe be bad and could that be the reason the engine keeps turning off on me?

there is no need to rewire the entire Jeep. Get that vehicle away from that mechanic and take it to someone that knows what they are doing. If only one fuse is blowing then you only have a problem with the items that the fuse powers, not the entire wiring harness. Take it to a good shop and get it diagnosed and repaired properly
