when i first bought my car the heat worked so good that if i turned it on max id sweat to death in my own car, but now... randomly stopped working..
i turn my car on after a few minutes the heat will come out a decent temperature ,then about 5 - 10 minutes later on my way to work in the brudal winter it comes out like airconditioing / the heat gauge has 4 different selections 1 being min 4 max, when its on 1 or 2 itll give me some heat sometimes but when i turn it on 3 or 4 it comes out freezing cold,
any one have any idea to what the problem may be
note:
-its winter
-havent had an oil change(does need to be changed)
-recently replaced my serpentine belt
-check engine light is on for the following porbable causes
(EVAP system flow during non-purge)
1.failed canister purge solenoid
2.failed ftp sensor (fuel tank pressure)
3.stuck open purge control valve
4.short circuit condition
-i use DEX-COOL engine coolant wich is what is recommended for the car and just filled it up to the max (not sure if i need to add water to make it the 50/50 mixture
-replaced my air filter
and please i dont need someone to answer my question who knows half of what there talking about thinking there cool cause the knowweird named parts on cars acting like they know it all, i need an intelligent person who repairs cars professionally

dont add water to it, the 50/50 has wate in it, that was your problem, you were a little low on coolant
