98 pontiac sunfire headlight problems please help!!!!!?

I no longer have day time running lights. When I turn the headlights on the passenger side is bright but the driver side is very dim. When high beams are on the dim light goes out completely. Does any one have any ideas on how to fix this and what the cost might be??? Thanks.

More than likely a bad light socket, or bad bulb. you have grounding problem of drivers side. Inspect the light socket and bulb.

that sounds like more that one thing but i would start with new head lights and see what that takes care of

maybe you need bulbs
