I removed the factory radio,installed a Alpine CDA-9886 unit,there was 2 antenna wires on the rear of factory unit (non Bose system),so I bought the special $20 antenna adapter...The new radio won't get many stations clearly now...Someone said there is a power antenna wire inside the windshield that must be hooked up...True? I do see a small hail like wire inside the windshield.. How do I hook it up? Never heard of such a thing.
