Ok, so the previous owner told me the check engine light was on because he changed the o2 sensor for a better economical gas mileage. Well i had a friend run the compute to check the check engine light, and it says the catalytic converter is the problem, im wondering if the o2 sensor is causing the cat converter to have an issue, and can if i just replace the o2 sensor, will the cat converter be cleared of problems?
