I have a 2000 Corolla and when I switch gears as soon as the clutch petal hits the floor the A/C fan loses power. When I let the clutch back up it goes back to full operation. It almost seems like when the clutch pedal hits the floor it's putting a huge load on the battery. The car starts fine and I recently charged the battery for about 5 hours just to make sure the it wasn't the battery. Does anyone have any advice as to what could be causing this? Clutch pedal safety switch? Thanks! Ok. Thanks for your help. I will check for a bad connection and see what I can find.
