There is a chihuahua show breeder who has a lovely little chi but since the dog is too shy for the ring, he wants to place the little dog to go to a show or kennel home because the dog is "too nice to just be someone's pet." what gives? can a breeder explain what is with this mentality? From what I know, the dog already had babies, anyway.
I bought a retired dog from this breeder. The dog is living very well and he knows it. He claims that dogs in pet homes are usually happier, anyway because in general they get more individual attention. So what gives?
Just curious. And no, I wasn't planning on adopting this sweet little dog, I already have one and she is a handful. I was just taken back that the breeder actually said, "she is too shy to show but to nice to spay and just be a pet" Like being a pet would somehow be a waste of this dog's life.
