A popping xiphoid process. Or a serious discomfort at the base of my sternum.(I diagnosed myself because at age 13) The "oh-so- great" military doctors said it was nothing. It can definitley be felt, I can definitley hear it...Its is uncomfortable and if not popped(like a finger knuckle) sorta painful. I think it happens more at night, too!!( sometimes I can't even lay down) Sometimes I feel out of breath because of it. What the heck is it?? Does anybody else have this issue??? it is waaay worse now that I am pregnant.
