Netscape opens up.? A user states that everytime she does a file>send as webpage in internet explorer, Netscape opens up. Client wants Outlook to open up. How do you get Outlook to open up

open internet explorer >Tools > internet options> Programs tab.

Look at the blue e and set IE as default browser.

also do this to make ie perform

Click tools> internet options >advance tab> scroll to the bottom and click Restore Defaults >
Then in the list of the scroll click “empty temp files when browser closes”. This clears the cache and will fix “Cannot display webpage”.
Also in the listings click “disable phishing filter” if you want more speed. However you may want to use this feature if you do internet banking.

Only have one phishing filter and one firewall program running per computer.

Also click Tools >delete browsing history >select and delete all including add ons. It is good to do this regularly.
To make the settings stick you have to close the browser.
Then you should be fine.

With XP Open IE/ Tools/ Internet options/ Programs/ on the 2nd window down, select your default email program.Click Apply/ OK. With Vista, Open IE/ Tools/ Internet Options/ Programs/ Set Programs.In the window that opens, select Set your Default Programs. Now just click on any program and select Choose defaults for this program.
