Earlier this month, Aaron Hill of the Arizona Diamondbacks hit for the cycle. Tonight, the second baseman did it again! With a triple in the sixth inning, he capped the amazing feat.
Said Hill: “It’s great. Obviously, it’s great to get the win, too. It wouldn’t have been as enjoyable if we came away with a loss. It was just a fun game.”
Hill is only the second player to have two cycles in one game. The other player was some guy named Babe Herman back in 1931.
On the season, the 30-year-old is hitting .302 with 11 homers and 38 RBIs.
