abnormal hair growth for years?

my periods have always been fine ive suffered abnormal facial hair growth for years ive only ever been tested for pcos which is wasnt they said and put on pill

should i not have been tested for adrenal tumors or cushings disease, pituatory gland tumor all these years? i never knew about them until recently should i ask to be tested for them?
