...almost EVERYWHERE in Italy? I did some research and found round trip ticket out of Chicago ranging from $780-880 (flight found on orbitz.com, 1month ahead of scheduled departure)

so here is what I would guess, for just myself to go I guessed:

$850-round trip ticket
$1200 for breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks for 1month
$1500 for lodging ($50/night for 30 days=1500)
$200 for gifts/souvenirs
$200 for transportation (KEEP IN MIND I WANT TO GO EVERYWHERE Rome, Sicily, Florence, Palermo, Venice, almost everywhere)
$50 for entrance fees to museums, etc
Totaling around $4000

So to be safe would I need around $4200???

IS THIS RIGHT??? TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK???

So if I had another person travel with me would it cost $8,400 for the both of us?

If you want to go EVERYWHERE it will cost an infinite amount of time and money. Can't be done so you need to revise your question
