add ringtones to samsung intensity?

hi i have a samsung intensity and i'm trying to download my own ringtones to it. i'm not quite sure how. i do have the micro sc card for it and i've put the music files to the "my ringtones" folder of the card but they dont show up. if you know how, please let me know asap!!! tyvm
