The are so many other possibilities for setting it up, but I would like to know if it is a good idea to use the sava29, do they make good mid-high range speakers?
Does anybody have experience with the Sony Sava-29 speakers? I'm considering buying the front and left speakers for them, to replace the satellites of the Logitech z-2300 speaker system. What I've got, is Just the subwoofer of the Logitech z-2300, Altec Lansing ACS-495 2.1 speakers, two random low quality jbl speakers, and a computer with analog 5.1 output. What I want to do with it, is either put the sava29 directly out of the z-2300, and run it directly as a 2.1 system, or maybe try running the ACS-495 directly out of the front channel of the pc, have the Center/Sub channel go into the z-2300, and connect one of the crappier speakers to the left channel of the sub, so that the right sub channel only goes through the sub, and the center into the speaker i would put as a center (trust me, it works, and i plan on replacing the center speaker for a better one), and run the sava29 out of the computer's rear channel. The are so many other possibilities for setting it up, but I would like to know if it is a good idea to use the sava29, do they make good mid-high range speakers? The room i'm in is a low roofed, but a little bit long basement room (need to refloor it...) Thanks a million!
