Ademco Alarm "open ckt" message?

I have an Ademco alarm system that has worked correctly from installation a year ago. Now the key pads are showing an “open ckt” message. When showing the message each keypad will beep every few minutes. When unplugged from the wall and the battery then reattached the message will go away until armed then disarmed showing the message again. I have inspected all the wiring and everything is wired correctly and securely fastened in place. I have looked online and people are saying that one of the yellow wires for the keypad have come loose. I have looked at them all and none are loose. Also thinking if one was loose then only that keypad would show the error message “open ckt” Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have the same problem

I have the exact same problem, it happened after I reconnected the battery with the circuit breaker off. The battery and circuit breaker had been disconnected due to a false water bug alarm.
 
Open Crt

open Crt usually means bad wiring between panel and keypad, if it intermited might be panel board problem. have you made sure address is correct. Vista 20 1st address is 16, older panels 31 or 01
 
My Alarm system has worked for over a decade. Today the power company turned the power off for over 8 hours. Both my alarm panels beeped through out the last few hours and now say open ckt.

Can anyone help me please?
