It squirted out the sides of the tip of applicator, instead of the normal way. It appers that alot of the medicine got on his fur instead of on his skin. Will this treatment be effective or should I re-apply? If I should re apply should I do so right away or should I wait. I don't want to waste the medicine or overdose my dog.

Rub it into his fur. It should be just fine. Don't waste another tube if you don't have to.

I think you are supposed to wait more like 3 days after a bath. Frontline needs the bodies natural oils to work.

YEAH, RUB it in but make sure you read the warnings first. What you just put on your dog can be very dangerous to you and HIM.
Read this!! http://www.apnm.org/publications/resources/fleachemfin.pdf

sorry but you already wasted medicine, you have to wait 48 hours after the bath to apply it... sorry

Ideally Frontline is applied directly the skin...any liquid on the fur doesn't do any good. However, reapplying any would be risking an overdose.

If you really wanted to be safe you could just wash it all off then reapply another tube making sure it all gets on the skin. I know it's a waste of the first but it would be safer than risking an overdose. Good luck.

Well... since you're not supposed to apply it until at least 24 hours post bath ( the stuff spreads via the natural oils on a dog's skin) maybe this is a good thing.

Call the vet and ask him.
