Aim and facebook chat connected?

I had my facebook chat connected to aim, but i recently changed my facebook password and now it wont reconnect to facebook on aim. help! I cant stand regular facebook chat. I click reconnect and i get a pop up saying "username service" and it's completely blank. I even uninstalled aim and reinstalled it, still nothing. Please help, im so frustrated.
