Alpine Type r's with rockfordfosgate amp?

I was wanting to get 2 Alpine type r's 12 inch and was wondering if i should get the 4 ohm or the 2 ohm addition with this amp? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_25132_Rockford-Fosgate-T1000-1bdCP.html Which would work better? and i would like to run the subs at both 500 rms each!!!!!!


One more thing i was what gain is? and what is bass boost? and how do you control them?

And on your deck if you turn the bass to +6 +2 -5 or whatever, is that bass boost?

Unless you are running 14.4 volts i would run the amp at 1 ohm, which still probably wont be exactly 500 rms each. WHen you turn the bass boost knob or turn the bass boost on the amp would be bass boost.
