Alright.... why do super-villains always reveal their plans?

Earlier I asked why they want to destroy the world. I got some pretty good answers. Now I"m curious as to why they ALWAYS reveal their plans, their weaknesses, and then leave the hero in a usually easily escapable situation.

Because they want to feel badass.

One so that we know whats going on. Probably wouldn't happen in real life.
Two so the hero wins in the end.

Ever watch Austin Powers? Those two things are why Dr Evil's son Scotty always gets so mad at him.
