Alternate to bluetooth/phone connecting method? :)?

Hey all :)

I am just doing a bit of thinking and was wondering if there is a alternative to connecting two phones via bluetooth, a faster and less hastle way :)

So if you could just touch the two phones back to back then flick in the direction of one to the other and it would start transferring a contact/song/video/web page :)

Oh and if there needs to be hardware changes what would it be? :)
