Am I being TOO PERSCHNICKETY or how else should I cook supper?

I took out ground beef to cook for supper, tonight. I have Hamburger Helper(r) packets in my kitchen cabinet to cook with this meat. These packets are MEXICAN CRUNCHY TACO. I cannot digest cheese products. :-( I'm Lactose-intolerant.
How differently can I cook supper w. the limited groceries I have in my freezer? - I have also had too much Meatloaf to enjoy this. :-(
 
There is no way to tell if you are PERSCHNICKETY from what your write here. (I did look it up)

Do a simple mince stew with onions, garlic, diced carrots, corn and green garden peas. Add some seasonings like salt and pepper, some curry powder to taste, some turmeric for colour. Rehydrate some sultanas or raisins and add to heat.
Thicken as required and serve with fluffy white rice or some spinach and potato mash.
