hi guys, I'm really pissed off to the max because I feel like I've been completely ripped off by lg.
I got my G slate last year in november 2011, and it's now march 2012.....why don't I have ice cream sandwich?
Ice cream sandwich came out last year in december,,,,, it seems like lg has
abandoned their tablet customers...because they don't have an explanation as to why they won't give us the update
and to top things off...they locked the freaking bootloader...are you kidding me? do they hate their customers
So, you mean to tell me that you won't give me the latest version of android on my perfectly capable g slate
and on top of that, you locked the bootloader so I can't download ice cream sandwich off of a rom? I don't get it,
the tablet has so much potential to run this software, i mean, the hardware is bangin! but what I do get,
is that i wasted about $600 on this soon to be outdated piece of ****. I mean, seriously, I want you to think
about this, especially you g slate users, if there are any anymore besides me, think: all the other tablets
that meet the hardware requirements already have the 4.0 version of android and they're probably going to keep
updating...but we're probably going to stay at version 3.2 forever...I don't know if anyone can take legal
actions against lg, because it seems like a crime for a company to totally abandon their product and
lock it so the user is incapable of updating it...they didn't even give anyone a heads up about any of this
then again, what company would tell the side effects of the product to its customers? Tmobile has
taken the g slate off their market, but it's still available some places, I saw it at amazon..don't waste your
money on this. I don't even understand it because this is one of their first tablets, you'd think they'd
put their everything into making the experience great for users, but this was a complete flop. I'm not buying
from lg again, that's all I can say. Does anyone know how to get around this problem? I would at least like
my bootloader unlocked because maybe there's a rom somewhere out there with the latest version of android
I can download...I know tmobile won't give me that
Is there the slightest bit of hope that MAYBE, just MAYBE LG will eventually push a major update to all its gslate users?,,,this is ridiculous.....how do I speak to the head of lg? I would like to talk with that person on behalf of ALL g slate users.
