Android OS - how do I delete my Outlook Trash folder?

I have both Gmail and Outlook on my phone. For Outlook my folders sync between my Droid and Exchange except for the "Trash" folder. I have a couple thousand emails that I would like to either delete all at once or have it sync with Exchange for auto delete. My Exchange empties out my delete folder every time I exit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
