They drive me nuts. They're extremely nosey, like they want to know what you're doing, how your performance is (e.g. at work, ur salary, ur marks in exams etc.), who you date, who you will marry etc., and anything else that is personal.
I stay with my parents (yeh...gotta support them if they need a hand), and so i can't avoid their annoying friends. I try and stay in my room when they visit, and if I don't come out, they'll ask my parents why i'm not coming out and will actually come up to my door and start knocking (some have even entered despite me not responding lol). I've spoken to my parents about this and told them that I don't wish to be disturbed, but then my parents are like "that's indian culture. don't be rude to your elders. if they want to see you then you will see them! how can i tell them that you won't see them?"
and i'm like thinking "oh great...can't wait for my next personal interview1"
How can I deal with the situation? (and no...moving out is not one of my options at this stage).
