Another Vista update bug?

sfc/scannow stopped at 98% told me i had corrupt files in my registry ,just found out it was due to a dodgy vista update KB94160 why don't Microsoft send out a fix for this.http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.vista.performance_maintenance&tid=d0bce3ad-c992-4f2b-8a6f-5651915fbad5&p=1

Yes it's very annoying but they will eventually fix it as Vista is now their flagship.If you wish to remove it look up system restore and run that.Then turn off automatic updates, ask to download them for you but let you choose which ones to install. This will avoid getting it back again.
