Independent political group Common Sense South Dakota on Tuesday announced that it will spend up to $100,000 on radio ads suggesting that Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-S.D.) has ties to abortion-rights groups, the Sioux Falls Argus-Leader reports. The ad says that Herseth Sandlin took $864,000 from groups that support abortion rights during her political career and that she supports using taxpayer money to fund abortion.
